About Sandy
With nearly 24 years of experience in the Platte County Clerk’s Office, Sandy Krohne was elected to her position in 1994 and has been re-elected to four subsequent terms.
Krohne was instrumental in bringing “document imaging” to Platte County government, a technological advancement that allows faster information retrieval for county offices and the public. She worked in the Platte County Clerk’s Office for seven years as a deputy prior to her election.
It was then that she developed ballot language to improve the county’s liquor license structure to meet State Liquor Control, a ballot measure that passed with overwhelming support from voters.
Sandy is married, has two grown children and one grandchild.
